Georgian House Bedrooms Refurbishment Now Complete
The most sumptuous fabrics, the best technology and beautiful décor are just part of the guestroom refurbishment programme at Flackley Ash Hotel & Restaurant at Peasmarsh near Rye, East Sussex. The works on 30% of the guestrooms are now complete.

Flackley Ash Hotel is already renowned for its quality food, using only the finest fresh local produce. The hotel is privately owned and independently managed. The aim to create the most desirable guest rooms in the area. They decided to update the Georgian House bedrooms with a sophisticated new look which will elevate further the hotel's position as one of the area’s most luxurious country house hotels.

Individually designed, each room has its own unique character and ambience whilst maintaining their instant country house warmth and personality using subtle earthy tones.

As well as soft furnishings using top quality designer fabrics such as Sanderson’s, the rooms have quality beds, with softly luxurious and crisp white bedding. Each room boasts a LCD television, with integrated DVD player, satellite channels and Wireless Broadband Internet Access.

David Betteridge said: "We're not setting out to be groundbreaking in the design of our rooms and our style has remained as a traditional country house hotel but keeping up with the expectations of how that tradition has moved forward on the design front. We've added a few touches of our own personalities which will give guests that personal and individual feel. It is about comfort, luxury and functionality and we think by adding a little modern technology we can create a contemporary feel without going over the top and becoming too trendy."

The refurbishment of these Georgian House rooms is the first phase in a series of exciting plans for the hotel to be announced later this year
